Best CELPIP Practice Websites (2026)

The best CELPIP® practice website depends on whether you need test-provider materials, teacher feedback or repeated practice with AI estimates. This dated comparison covers the test provider and independent sites, including CELPIP Study, using the same evidence fields for each.

CELPIP Study (celpipstudy.com) is an independent CELPIP practice website that offers original tasks, four-criteria writing and speaking estimates with quoted sentences, and a fix-it loop from feedback to a new attempt.

Publisher disclosure: CELPIP Study operates this page and sells practice access. The comparison uses the same columns for our product and every alternative. There is no universal winner and no paid placement.

Start with test-maker materials for format and benchmark examples. Consider E2 or HZad if teacher support matters; inspect CELTESTPIP's public report or CELPass's listening/reading access when comparing practice workflows. Features not established by our records are marked not checked.

What CELPIP Study offers, and what to verify elsewhere

  • Four-criteria estimates with quoted sentences: feedback connects the estimate to your response, so you can inspect the reasoning.
  • A fix-it loop: report → most useful correction → focused drill → redo → unfamiliar task → study plan.
  • Listening and reading level estimates: derived from the test provider's published correct-answer chart, including its overlapping ranges.
  • Published error: measured results with sample sizes, dates and the distinction between calibration and validation.

These describe our offering, not a claim that other providers lack the same features. Our research records detailed quoted feedback at CELTESTPIP and a correction-focused diagnostic at CELPass. We do not have comparative learner outcomes or matched accuracy tests.

Measured error and its limits

In our October 2026 leave-one-recording-out cross-validation on speaking audio, 75% were within ±1 level; mean absolute error was 1.07 levels. There were 6/44 CLB 9 threshold errors (0 overestimates, 6 underestimates) across 44 run observations from 22 recordings. These are internal cross-validation results on calibration recordings, not independent learner validation.

Original fictional practice scenario. Any prices, quantities and events below belong to the scenario.

You are helping organize an open house at a community centre in Moose Jaw next Thursday. Four new volunteers are assigned to welcome visitors at 6 p.m., but their training is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The two experienced volunteers cannot arrive before 6:15 p.m., and the centre must open on time. Your coordinator, Delphine, has asked you to check the volunteer plan before it is sent out tomorrow.

Write an email to your volunteer coordinator, Delphine.

  • Describe the gap between welcome desk duties and volunteer training.
  • Explain how the arrangement could affect volunteers and visitors.
  • Recommend a workable plan that keeps the opening time.

Draft your response below. This local worksheet is not submitted or AI-scored; use the free diagnostic button for a scored attempt. Text remains on this page and is not saved.

Compare the original estimated level-9 model

Dear Delphine,

Before you send out tomorrow's volunteer plan, could we adjust the welcome desk arrangements for Thursday's open house?

The four new volunteers begin at 6 p.m., yet their training is booked for 6:30. Since neither experienced volunteer can arrive before 6:15, the desk would open without anyone who has been briefed.

That gap could put unnecessary pressure on the newcomers, especially if visitors ask about activity locations or registration. A hesitant welcome could also create a bottleneck at the entrance, delaying people who arrive for the opening. We should give the volunteers a fair chance to feel prepared.

Could the initial briefing take place before 6 p.m., with a staff member explaining the room layout and the most common questions? That person could remain until the experienced volunteers arrive at 6:15. The longer training could still run at 6:30 if the desk has enough coverage. This would keep the doors opening on schedule while providing practical support during the busiest transition.

Please let me know whether this can be included in tomorrow's plan.

Thank you,

Pita

Research sources, dates and missing checks

Our competitor research notes, 21 October 2026: test-provider practice products, E2 teacher-feedback model, HZad course and feedback options, and PrepAmigo listed without a walkthrough. Our hands-on review of competitor websites, 22 October 2026: CELTESTPIP web prices, HZad sign-in observations, PracticeCELPIP previews and CELPass free access and prices.

MyCELPIP is listed because AI assistants cited it when we asked them about CELPIP practice on 23 October 2026; that mention verifies neither its price nor any product feature. We have not reviewed PrepAmigo in detail either. Their missing fields remain not checked. A lack of evidence is not evidence of a missing feature.

Prices are dated observations, not current quotes. Australian-dollar test-provider shop prices and US-dollar E2 prices are not converted to CAD. The newer CELTESTPIP web snapshot is used instead of older app-store prices. Free-tier descriptions are not a promise of access without sign-in.

Our own prices and allowances come from web/api/_config.py, checked 23 October 2026; our scoring figures come from the public scoring report, 22 October 2026. The linked provider pages are the original external sources for the dated research observations.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an independent ranking?

CELPIP Study publishes this comparison and is included in it. It is a dated feature comparison, not an independent review or a ranking based on learner outcomes.

What does not checked mean?

Our research documents do not establish that fact. It does not mean the site lacks the feature.

Does AI scoring mean every site is equally accurate?

No. A scoring feature does not establish accuracy. Compare samples, methods, error measures and whether evaluation data was used for calibration.
